City of Ember

City of Ember is a great movie. I saw it at Edwards Theater with my second oldest son, Jaxon, who is 13. It is clean enough that you can sit and watch it with kids of any age.

Bill Murray is the mayor of a city that is built deep within the earth. According to my son, Jaxon, this is also a great book.

The city is a ticking time bomb, however, as the the generators get to be 200 years old and as two teenagers try to save the city, despite the wishes of the Mayor Bill Murray.

There are lots of twists and turns, but I mostly like this movie because I felt comfortable watching it with my kids. Definitely a family movie, which is pretty amazing considering most movies aren't.

A definite two thumbs up.

Iron Man is a great movie

I just finished watching Iron Man for the second time. One of the best places in Idaho Falls to rent movies is:

Great American Clean Flicks on Woodruff.

You can pick the clean version or the uncut version of the movie.

I like to rent the clean version mainly because I have little kids who also want to see the movie.

They don't seem to understand when you are watching a great movie, and they can't. So rather than have a double standard, I rent the clean version.

Anyway, Iron Man is action packed. I love futuristic movies that seem like things are not too far fetched.

Anyway, my kids love the movie.

At Great American, you can rent movies for up to 5 days. They like new releases back after two days.

Iron Man is funny, has some romance, and is action packed.

I laughed; I cried; it became a part of me.
